Showtime!! How to NOT get sick before a show. And VANBUCKS!!
Did you know there are a few main things you can do to help your body be healthy and strong?

Our goal is to have everyone healthy and well for our rehearsals and ONSTAGE for our play on December 6, 7, & 8!
By taking these THREE simple steps you can SIGNIFICANTLY increase the likelihood of being well!

SIMPLE STEPS FOR WELLNESS:
1. STOP drinking soda, go for water instead. (We often forget that we live in a REAL desert! Most of us are usually dehydrated, so drink your water! Don’t ❤️ Water? Try herbal tea!! So Yummy, add honey and you’ll think it’s a treat!)

2. No sugar. (Sweet tooth? Try a piece or fruit or check out this blog all about chocolate for some tasty treats!)

3. Avoid Dairy Products. (You’ll find great dairy free ideas in the link above, but I’ll share a dairy free ranch dressing link here. Think of all the veggies you can dip in this!!)
I KNOW the biggest candy/sugar fest of the year is just a couple of weeks away, and PIE SEASON is right after that! So I’m NOT looking for perfection, but you WILL be REWARDED for your EFFORT!
So, here is the assignment, Starting immediately (Monday October 18) and going through DECEMBER 8th.
Everyday you DO NOT have soda = 1 point
Everyday you DO NOT have sugar = 1 point
Every day you AVOID dairy = 1 point
You have the opportunity to earn up to 156 points, and the more effort you make, the more Van-Bucks you will earn!
50 points = 3 Van-Bucks
65 points = 5 Van-Bucks
80 points = 6 Van-Bucks
95 points = 7 Van-Bucks
110 points = 8 Van-Bucks
125 points = 12 Van-Bucks
140 points or higher = 15 Van-Bucks!!!
You can create a calendar here (for October, November through December) to track your progress.
Assignment starts Monday October 18, 2021.
ONE FINAL THOUGHT
Obviously this is a very basic list, if you want to take this to the next level you can add:
1. Good Sleep Habits
2. Exercise 4-6 times/week
3. Eat produce, (ESPECIALLY vegetables) everyday. A few ideas.
